Performance Measures

Performance measures or success indicators must be precise and very well qualified.  Those measures developed for managers are irrelevant or counter-productive unless they corroborate, support and fulfill the performance measures of the overall organization.  Performance measures are an important component of the management and operating control system.  They help people become more accountable and results-oriented by accepting ownership of problems, plans and programs.
